Edgerton Hospital and Health Services: Mental Health Awareness Month/International Wear Green Day

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and May 15th is International Wear Green Day (for mental health), so Edgerton Hospital is hosting an event to promote mental health awareness and services in our community and area.
We will begin with a brief introduction from our President & CEO about the importance of mental health and Edgerton Hospital’s efforts to expand access to mental health services in South Central Wisconsin. Some of our providers who offer mental health services or mental health screenings will follow, with an overview of their roles at Edgerton Hospital and Health Services, and why they decided to work in areas to provide mental health services or screenings.
Following this 15–20-minute introduction, the event will adapt to an open house until 12:30pm, highlighted by:
- The opportunity to meet and talk with our mental health service and screening providers
- Information and resources on tips and tools to identify and improve your mental health
- Green giveaways to support and promote mental health awareness
- Green refreshments and treats (to follow the theme)
This event is OPEN to the PUBLIC and staff and guests will be invited and encouraged to wear green.
