Cafe Coda: The Amanee Avery Band

Amanee “The Saxchick” Avery has been dominating the saxophone since she was the age of 12. Also known as that girl who plays the saxophone, Amanee has performed on stages between the United States and Italy along with various artists and musicians.
In 2021 Amanee released her debut EP entitled “Schools Out” , it’s been featured on various jazz stations across the United States and in her hometown of Northern Illinois. Throughout her stint as a performing artist, Amanee has performed with and opened for various artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Wayne Bergeron, Richie Cole, The Zapp band, Jacquees, and Carl Thomas. Amanee is not only a saxophonist, she’s also a vocalist, pianist, and can play a variety of musical instruments.
