| We’re so excited to introduce you to the new owners of the Wine and Hop Shop. And it’s extra heartwarming, because they are familiar faces: Tom and Jordan! You may remember Tom from his years of working at the Shop, or his time working at Working Draft Beer Company. Tom is smart, kind, hard-working, and he’ll be a tremendous steward and owner of the Shop. The official hand-off will be sometime in March most likely. Until then, the Shop will continue to offer fresh ingredients, quality supplies, and free expert advice. And after the transition, the Shop will continue to offer fresh ingredients, quality supplies, and free advice. And I’m sure Tom will bring something to the table that I was not able to. Here’s a short letter from Tom and his family to you: My family and I are excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of the Wine and Hop Shop. I previously worked at the Shop for five years, gaining firsthand experience and a deep appreciation for the community that makes it special. We now live on a small farm in Blue Mounds with our two kids, Theo (5) and Mae (2). I have spent the last several years working in the solar industry. Jordan is the executive director of a non-profit called FLYY that provides mental health services to youth in Dane County. We recognize the Shop as being a cornerstone of the brewing and winemaking community and are committed to keeping it the same trusted, knowledgeable, and welcoming place it has always been.
