Who: Monroe Street neighbors, Madison residents, and weekend tourists
What: A celebration of locally owned businesses and surrounding residents which includes sidewalk sales, grab & go food specials, outdoor entertainment, children’s activities and more.
Where: The entire strip of Monroe Street: from 1700 to the 3400 block
When: September 24, 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Why: The Monroe Street Festival is a cherished annual tradition celebrating our many locally owned businesses and our surrounding residential neighborhoods. The purpose of the Festival is to promote and sustain new and existing businesses, enhance the positive and vibrant image of Monroe Street, and attract visitors from all over to our lively sliver of the city.
