From Chocolate Shope Ice Cream –
After a lot of thought and consideration, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Cone Crawl.
While we were excited to bring our community together for this annual celebration, we feel that now is not the right time to host an event like this. Right now, our focus is on supporting our Madison community.
Cone Crawl is all about bringing people together to explore the Madison area, enjoy ice cream, and celebrate the communities we are proud to serve. While we won’t be gathering for Cone Crawl this year, we are planning to bringing it back next year!
Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and continued support. We’re grateful to be part of such a strong and caring community.

2026 Cone Crawl for National Ice Cream Day – Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream

Due to the unhealthy air quality, we postponed our original Cone Crawl date — but we’re excited to bring the sweet adventure back on Sunday, August 2nd from 11AM–5PM!

Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with us by taking on the 3rd Annual Cone Crawl — a sweet adventure through our Madison-area ice cream shoppes!

Pick up a Cone Crawl map at any shoppe to get started, then make your way from location to location, sampling a different Madison-made ice cream or vegan flavor with a free mini cone at each stop.

Collect stamps at each shoppe to track your progress — and if you make it to all ten, you’ll earn a limited-edition Cone Crawl prize pin (while supplies last)!

Start anywhere! Participating locations: Middleton, Hilldale, Sequoya Commons, Monroe St., Fitchburg, State St., Public Market, Atwood Ave, Cottage Grove Rd, and Sun Prairie
