Sessions at Garver Feed Mill brings Iris DeMent’s unique voice to the Garver Atrium on June 20, 2025.
DeMent is widely regarded as one of America’s greatest singer-songwriters and a passionate advocate for human rights. Her voice and timeless melodies draw from hymns, gospel, and classic country, while her lyrics are rich with humor, insight, and tenderness.
Her latest album, Workin’ On A World, marks her seventh release. In this hopeful record, DeMent tackles themes of social justice, gun control, politics, aging, and loss, offering her signature blend of compassion and a deep belief in music as a source of healing.
General admission seating opens at 8pm with show at 9pm.
