In the bakery business since 1970, Carl has trained with
German and Swiss pastry chefs. He has been making wedding cakes for 21 years
and opened Carl's Cakes in April 2004 to offer Madison his outstanding buttercream-frosted
cakes. A special area of interest for Carl is being as energy efficient as
possible. He uses low-energy light bulbs and intends to run the entire bakery
on solar power.
