Buying Local

Being located in Sun Prairie, we know what it means when "everybody knows your name". The reason our names and faces are familiar is because of our involvement in local community groups. Our agents support the Madison and Sun Prairie communities in various ways such as coaching at local high schools, being active members of area chambers, and volunteering at organizations that enhance the quality of life in our area. We believe in supporting the very communities who have shown their support of our business.

History

Originally founded by Ed Ritter in 1983 as Ritter Insurance Agency, Harms Insurance Group, named for current owner, Matt Harms, continues the same tradition of providing exceptional service to each and every client. Matt purchased the agency in January 2007 after working at Ritter for 10 years. Still located at 100 Wilburn Road, in the Cornerstone Building, Harms Insurance Group's goal is to be your ONLY phone call for any insurance needs. Our agency is made up of 60% commercial and 40% personal insurance. Of our commercial clients, 75% have ALL of their insurance with us (home, auto, health and life).
