The Alvarado Real Estate Group is a team of residential and commercial real estate consultants that focus on helping clients through the purchase and sale transaction. Many of our current projects relate to environmental issues, green homes and promoting greener living. We believe that global change starts at home and we're committed to making that the foundation in how we grow our business, create community, and raise our children. We specialize in working with the Hispanic market (both Sara and Carlos are bilingual). It is our belief that homeownership is truly rewarding when families feel a part of their community and there are positive neighborhood experiences.

Buying Local

I'm in the real estate business which is as local as you can get. My services are based on knowing the areas, the neighborhoods, the schools and why people are drawn to certain areas. So promoting local businesses and the helping create a more sustainable local economy is very important to me. Our company specializes in working with clients that are looking for or selling green homes. Our client base is like minded in their desire for greener living which thrives on buying local.

History

Sara Alvarado started working as an individual Realtor in 2002 and after her second child was born in 2004, she decided it was time to grow the team and recruited her husband, Carlos Alvarado. The group is made up of the two owners, a team manager, marketing assistant and depending on the season, a buyer's agent. It is a family run business passionate about real estate, healthy homes and vibrant communities. We started our focus on Green homes after our youngest son was diagnosed with asthma and our research correlated the increase in asthma cases in young children with environmental changes. We are committed to creating an awareness and inspiring change for greener living.
