Product/Service

We are Madison's piano specialist, offering fine pianos and complete piano care. Farley's features over 135 new, used, restored, and digital pianos on display in multiple showrooms, including eight brands of new pianos. Farley's is by far the largest and busiest rebuilding facility in the region, offering certified piano technicians and a 3,000 square foot rebuilding center. Pianos restored by Farley's are placed in homes and concert stages around the world. International classical and jazz artists perform at intimate salon concerts hosted by Farley's throughout the year, and the Farley's teaching studios offer piano and voice instruction for all ages and abilities.

Buying Local

The choosing of an instrument, like many larger purchases, is a long-term commitment on the part of both the buyer and the seller, and a locally-owned business lives up to that promise. We get to know our customers and keep in touch with salon concerts, tunings and newsletters. Our active involvement and support of the Madison musical community assures that musical education and performance continue to thrive, and we proudly support other local businesses who take on these same responsibilities.

History

In 2007 Farley's celebrates 35 years in Madison.Tim Farley was an experienced piano rebuilder when he started his own business working out of a modest garage. Renee Farley, who taught music in the Madison school system, offered piano lessons. By the early '70s the growing firm was located on East Wilson Street and had over 75 pianos on display and gained national recognition as highly skilled piano technicians and rebuilders. After tremendous growth Farley's moved to Madison's Westside in 1997, with 11,000 square feet of showroom space for new and used pianos, private teaching studios for the thriving music instruction program, and the region's largest piano rebuilding facility.
